Hi, My name is Pete Morgan, owner of LeatherRich.
In the late 1980's after being professionally trained as a Leather Technician, I started Total Leather Care, Inc. of Arizona and entered into the Leather Furniture Cleaning, Repair, Restoration and Service business in Phoenix, Arizona. Working for leather funiture stores, warrantee companies, designers, and a long list of private leather owners and commercial offices.
One of the very first things I discovered was that even though there were a lot of leather cleaning products being offered on the marketplace, hardly any of them were safe or worked well on fine furniture upholstery leathers. Many of my customers would ask me what they could go and purchase to keep their leather clean and conditioned in between my visits.
Frankly, I couldn't tell them of any product that I knew would work well. Most products being offered on the marketplace were saddle soaps, oil soaps, silicone sprays, or greasy formulas. All of which can damage upholstery leather, or just sit on the surface and collect more soiling. As a result I set about creating a formula especially for fine upholstery Leathers that would deep clean, moisturize, and yet help to preserve the supple integrity of the leather and it's rich luxurious feel.
After consulting with a couple leather chemists and hunting the industry for the right chemicals that would be eviornmentally safe, have a pleasant odor, and yet work well. The LeatherRich formula was borne. That was 1993, Now our professional cleaning formula is carried by the finest Leather Furniture stores in Arizona.
